So what's new in Onverse?[]

We've been working on a lot of things, primarily those that form the core of what Onverse is intended to be, a free place to hang out and have fun with your friends online.

Housing[]

Housing is almost complete. We have house ownership controls on the outside of homes where you can buy, sell, pick up your furniture, turn on your power, and view profiles of the owners.

Once a home or apartment is purchased (or received for free), our furniture placement system is very intuitive. You simple drag objects from your furniture inventory directly onto the spot in your home where you'd like to place it. Once placed you can freely move the object around your house, or fine tune your placement with rotation and planar movement controls. We also have an alternate mode of movement (holding down ALT) where you can place objects move freely, even placing couches on walls and ceilings if you want!

Shopping[]

Our shops are filled with hundreds of objects (over 600 currently) for you to peruse and purchase. Each store has a theme for the objects such as an electronics store, art store, accessories, clothing, etc. The cool thing about the system is that the inventories are always changing, so checking back often might land you a cool rare piece of furniture that none of your friends have!

Tools[]

We have been implementing a system of exploring to find points for shopping. Tools will be our first way of doing so. Then there are objects hidden around the world that these tools are intended to use on that will reward you with Player Points for finding and using the tools on them. You can get tools from the Onverse store. Like other types of objects, they have multiple tiers (levels) that allow you to use them on different objects, depending on the tier.

We have been working on many other things to get ready for deployment, but just wanted to touch on some of the main ones. We are trying to polish our product as much as possible and can't wait to get into beta when we can begin building new features and ideas that our users can help decide on.

Thank you very much for being here. See you inside Onverse on June 15th!
