Are you ready for the greatest virtual party in the world? Onverse has gone all out this year to give you some cool locations and events to make our Mardi Gras the best one out there! With a lot of new items, cool furniture, and clothing changes, this update is bound to be a memorable one. Read on for all the details!
Masquerade Ball[]
When: Saturday, February 18 at 5 pm EST, 4 pm CST, 3 pm MST, 2 pm PST, 10 pm GMT
The Grand Casino in the Hub has been decorated for the annual Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball. Miniaturize yourself on jester balls, silhouette yourself on the balcony with a kiss, mega-size yourself in the Mardi Gras thrones, hit the dance floor, DJ, or slip into the Purple Marlin, a new hangout overlooking the dance floor.
Carnival Parades[]
When: Saturday, February 18 at 2 pm EST, 1 pm CST, 12 pm MST, 11 am PST, 7 pm GMT
Also: Sunday, February 19 at 3 pm EST, 2 pm CST, 1 pm MST, 12 pm PST, 8 pm GMT.
The Tangerine Coast has a Carnival parade route set up as a new experience in Onverse. Be sure to join us for these two events and enjoy the festivities. Dress up in your best Carnival gear and grab a Parade Float car, for sale next to the parade route. The Parade Floats can hold eight people and crawl along at the perfect parade speed!
Mardi Gras Store[]
The Mardi Gras store can be found in the left side of the Grand Casino in the Hub. This year it has two stories, one for all the small items, and one for all of the home building supplies. All of the old items from last year are there, along with many new items for 2012!
New Jackpot Treasures Jackpots![]
Each of the three Jackpot Treasures chests have cool new mounts and cars available as jackpot wins. In the gold chest is the new Golden Pegasus that has a 60% speed boost, in the red chest is the Golden Buggy, and in the blue chest is the Crystal Cheetah! Find those keys and good luck!
More Intuitive Furniture[]
Most of the furniture that made sense to has been converted to being solid when placing other objects against it. Now, instead of placing on the floor and dragging up to place things on shelves and counters, simply place it right on the object itself!
Valentine’s Additions[]
New Valentine’s tee shirts have been added to the Valentine’s platforms and new pillows have been added to the Valentine’s chests.
Hightops and Lowtops[]
The old hightop and lowtop shoes have been remodeled to look much better. You can see the new versions in Factory Fresh Imports. Expect to see other remakes of old models that we think we can do much better with!
Other Cool Stuff[]
- The Pegasus wing flap animation has been slowed.
- Two new dance animations can be found in your list, Leg Sweeps and Ground Breakin’!
