The newest Onverse update is on your doorstep and it’s full of exciting changes that you are going to want to check out! Included is a fully-reworked progression system through the Temple of Suul, new Trial Treasures that can be had by finding keys in the Temple or in the Trials of the Ancients, a new Architect’s Lab Trial, new premiums, new competition formats, and more! Read on to get the full details.
Trial Treasures[]
Ratchet the Cephalon has set up his Trunks o’ Junk at the Trial Starting area in the Trials of the Ancients. These Trunks are full of cool new steampunk-themed furniture, clothing, mounts and more. To open the trunks, you’ll need to find Trunk o’ Junk Keys using your Rune Scanner of Chieftain Staff inside the Temple of Suul or throughout the Trials. The new runes you can find inside the Trials have a great chance of dropping keys and they dynamically migrate into harder and less-used trials, encouraging you to strive deeper and complete all the Trials. Will you be the first to obtain the Steampunk Cheetah, the Boomerang UFOMG or the Red Rider Rocket?
Premium Items[]
A new batch of premium items is here! They can be found outside the Onverse Store in the Hub. This round includes the Giant Scorpion Mount, the Wild West Uber Zapper, and the Phoenix wings, a pair of wings that act as a mount and will have you floating through the air!
New Temple Progression[]
First off, the Temple of Suul puzzle has been removed from the Ancient Moon and can now only be found inside the Trails of the Ancients. The Temple progression has been re-worked so that if you have gotten your Rune Scanner or Staff, you can travel about freely through the sections you have completed. The Scanner or Staff will allow you to teleport through individual levels of the maze portion, all the way to the Throne Room. The Staff will allow you to travel even further, past the Gold Room and through the caves all the way to the Floating treasure Ship! You can now help your friends much easier to get their treasures as well! There are also two new Portal Passes that are rare, but can be found inside Ratchet’s Trunk o’ Junk. These Portal Passes will allow you to teleport through the Temple as well!
Wild West Items[]
Yeehaw! Factory Fresh Imports is full of new western-themed clothing and furniture. Build your own Wild West saloon, dress up and have a shindig! From boots with spurs to derby hats, the Wild West is here!
New Competition Formats[]
We are no longer accepting emails to enter our monthly competitions. Instead, we have moved the competition entry to our forums. Each month there will be a new forum thread for each competition and you will submit your entries there! Not only is it easier, logistically for us, it also gets everyone’s hard work out there for all to see, instead of just us!
Other Cool Stuff[]
- Breakable walls in the temple will now break in one use and can be broken with the Rune Scanner.
- Two new hair colors have been added – black with white stripes and white with black stripes.
- Purchasing items while on a mount should be easier now!
- Solo Trial 7 (The Architect’s Lab) has been redone into a new challenge.
- Trials of the Ancients Prizes have been reworked to have a better shot at getting the rarer treasures.
- Trial 4 (Easy) has had some switches introduced to make it slightly more difficult.
- Mother Nature can now be acquired as a pet from the final treasure chests in the Elemental Adventures storyline.
- Runes have been removed from the Ancient Moon, volcano island and the Hub. They are now strictly in the Trials area.
